Before anyone gets all twisted and yells "self rank," to be completely transparent I am a current sister in dphie. I feel like the whole point of this website is to either bash on other sororities or inflate your own up; so in terms of "self ranking" I feel like its the whole point of this website sooo take this comment with a grain of salt. If you are looking to make genuine friends, to meet a group of girls who will support you in and out of the classroom, and to have genuine fun beyond just going out, dphie is the place for you. Do we go out? absolutely - a lot of the time its at Georgia Tech [which if you haven't done yet you should absolutely go do] or we go to clubs on our own. We have mixers, semi formal, formal and all the other things Emory sororities do but to be frank going out isn't "who we are." There is a way bigger emphasis on sisterhood and service. I'm obviously not friends with everyone because that's just unrealistic - but dphie is an insanely safe space where people's differences are celebrated. If you are hesitant about joining us because we're "bottom tier"--which to be frank I think ranking Emory sororities is a conversation for a different day--know that our sisters and our sisterhood is anything but bottom tier. We have immensely talented and driven sisters who will make sure to celebrate you instead of tear you down. I have not once felt judged, out of place, or like I needed to be anyone other than myself here. Not once have I felt like I didn't belong. If you are joining greek life for the frat parties (which is valid) there are other sororities at Emory that excel at that. But, if you are joining greek life for genuine and life long friendships, for connection, and to find a home away from home you should look no further than dphie.

Time for some hard truth. You’re either one of two people in this sorority, the ones that are bullied and the ones that are bullies. Words can not begin to describe how messed up this organization is. The leadership (including advisors) are high key on a power trip and will check anyone into place who tries to disagree with them. This past year these so called “sisters” bullied and harassed several of their most active, outgoing, and kind members. They say they’re inclusive, but that only is in relation to those who are friends with leadership (but let’s be honest they still talk smack behind each others backs). Their actions these past years have caused them to lose a ton of members that held their social life relevant. They should really reflect and their actions
