by: PleaseBall State needs to give sororities housing. Or at least the ability to establish some sort of housing. The whole Muncie brothel law thing is unrealistic now.. if that’s what they’re going to use against us. They’re taking away our suites and it really feels like Ball State has it out for greek life. When Ball State would not even be half of what it is now without us. C’mon Greek Unity!

The brothel law was proven to be a rumor. Ball State was going to give us townhouses, however put something in the contracts that none of the headquarters could agree to. Those who have suites have had them longer than the 3 chapters that had their houses torn down two years ago.

We’ve been dealing with the issue of sorority housing for over a decade & have come no closer to fulfilling that goal. And now that BSU is taking away the sorority suites, the need to establish sorority housing should be even more paramount. I mean, look at Valpo; if Valpo can do it, why can’t Ball State? If BSU didn’t drop the ball on the whole townhouse thing, we’d be in a much better place & wouldn’t have come to this pass.

Ball State could do better by actually giving sororities the housing that they deserve. Note to self, administration: don’t drop the ball like you did last time around if you’re even reconsidering providing housing to BSU’s sorority women.
