What's Hot - Eastern Michigan University - EMU

My ratings are based on how I view Phi Sigma Sigma at EMU. The ladies are all unique and not barbies. They are not exactly popular because well there is only a few of them but when they show up they are the life of the party. People love hanging out with them. They aren't that involved on campus but they do participate in events they are invited to and they support their sisters in their other activities. I have seen their silly signs for each other. I ranked them high for being classy because I rarely hear their drama at the student center unlike the other chapters who talk smack about their sisters out in the open. The ladies are social. I remember them handing me flyers and talking to me before the movie night at the student center. I didn't go to their event but it was nice to meet them.

Most of the comments on here showcase them in a bad light, and while I'm not saying they're necessarily wrong, they're also not showing the whole picture. They have had a lot of problems over the years, and one of their biggest has been their numbers. They had a lot f their girl graduate at the same time, and it takes a lot to successfully run a sorority. Having so few girls makes it even worse. Yes, they give a bid to everyone, but they try to make everyone who joins apart of them. I don't think anyone is giving them enough credit. They all were given little guidance to try to turn their chapter around, but at the same time, it takes time and members and HELP to be able to do that. You can't do that 5 or even 10 members. If they did get their charter taken away, I'm really sorry to all of them, because I'm sure they tried to prevent that from happening.

They just aren't very known on campus... No you dont have to go out to be fun but they don't really reach out and I wish they were involved more on campus. Hate the self rating below.

The Sigmas are great girls! I have a lot of respect for them, anyone who rates any sorority that "parties" says they're un-classy..c'mon its college we all do it. I wish I would have rushed for them! <3
