appearance to sororities
by: WonderingDo the sororities judge you more based on your appearance (I.e. weight, acne, clothes, hair...) and not your personality? Or is it just a considering factor?

Honestly, it’s sad but some do judge off appearance and clothing. It’s not right but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t true. However, personality is normally considered more than looks. I would say that some sororities like girls with a certain look, but it shouldn’t be that way. Just be yourself because getting along with your sorority is much more important than looks.

You’d be surprised by how many girls in aoii and ast that made it all the way to aphi, sk, agd, etc. on pref round. Don’t judge a book by its cover

Greek life at duq has gotten really sad. Yes, they will judge you almost exclusively on your looks.
AOPi and GPhiB (and maybe still to some extent AST?) are the only ones that are truly looking for real girls that will contribute to their positive sisterhood.
Zeta and APhi are by far the worst, only taking girls that look identical to everyone else in the sorority.
I think DZ and SigKap are trying to do better, but in the past it has been the same story as zeta and aphi.
