Sorority Recruitment is not fun, and not will it ever be. This just doesn’t help. Part of the actual fun is decorating and for lack of a better word competing to make sure your room is the best. Someone will argue and say it doesn’t matter and that personality is what should count, but the truth is it does matter to those who want to put on a good show and I think this year recruitment is really going to take a hit in qualitity.

Totally agree! As a PNM, a big thrill of recruitment was going into the rooms and seeing the decorations! There was that moment of "wow!" that grabs you and revives you as you go into the party. Even if it was not a sorority I was interested in, I still loved seeing how each sorority ran with their theme and worked their personal aspects into the decorations. Every sorority has the potential to create a beautiful room, it's a matter of them utilizing their members' creativity and resources, which isn't something Panhel will be able to control. This doesn't level the playing field, it makes it harder for the sororities who struggle with room decor to find something their chapter can pull off.
Panhel, if you're reading this, please lift some of these rules! This is getting ridiculous and you're not making this process any easier or better.
