Let's get real about the ranks ladies. Here is the truth:

Tiers are basically non existent at this school. We are so desperate to put each other in these categories, we don't notice that those often put in the middle and bottom Tiers DO have good social lives and have relations with A LOT of the frats on campus including SAE who we treat like Gods and pretend like only the best of the best can party with them. When in reality everyone has had mixers with them. Also important to note, that Tiers shouldn't be based on who parties. Yeah make the most of your college experience. But do it with people you like, not 80 some girls who secretly hate each other. Find your home during recruitment. It's worth it, going through without preconceived notions of who's hot and who is lame. Every sorority has its perks. So exit this website.

So true. If you came on to this website to choose a sorority, be aware that not everything you read is true. Being top tier doesn't mean being the best sorority. This site is basically just for sororities to tear each other down when the reality is there isn't a best one. You're better going through recruitment with no preconceived ideas. You usually don't get your number one anyway when you do that or you learn you no longer want them.

Duquesne is basically too small to have real tiers. Every sorority is full of different girls but being that we are all part of the Panhellenic community, we all share similar values. No sorority is perfect and no sorority is awful.

Something to remember while going through recruitment is that you are looking for more than just a group of girls to party with. You are looking for love, support, and the opportunities sorority life can give you. It's crazy how many stories there are about sorority women going to job interviews where they realize their future boss is actually a sorority sister. So remember that this is a LIFE LONG friendship. Not 4 years of drinking and smoking pot.
