ZTA is the first sorority that comes to mind when you think of who is "top tier" but it's only because of their looks. Everyone knows that ZTA is known for having the "hot supermodel looking" girls on campus but they aren't necessarily the brightest girls on campus unfortunately. They take pride in their letters but it might be because of their ego and typically only want to mix with SAE. They can be nice but most of my encounters with them have been off putting.

Sigma Kappa came out with some fire in their eyes this past semester. All of a sudden they've been gaining some popularity but it might just be for show as they did need the numbers. They're a very social group and some refer to them as the "Frat" of the sororities on campus due to the way they act sometimes. The girls I know in Sigma Kappa are SO nice though. Their spring pledge class was a really great group of girls (a side from the fact that some dropped...)

GPhiB is known for having "bigger" girls but that doesn't mean they're awful people. Personally, I like how they're all about empowerment and girl power, etc. They killed it in Greek Sing last year but, like many other people, I have to say that they are kind of weird compared to the other sororities. They do their own thing and love it though, so props to them.

AST is the most involved sorority on campus, hands down. I know that they worked hard to get to where they are now though, 4 years ago they were not the same chapter that they are now. Over all very nice girls (a few crazy ones in the bunch), not known for being the "prettiest" sorority on campus, but their sisterhood is strong.

Alpha Phi used to be known for being the "crazy" sorority on campus. Much like Delta Zeta's newest spring pledge class, Alpha Phi's newest spring pledge class has been turning things around for them. Their PR/social media has their instagram under lock but some of the girls I've talked to in APhi have been less than spectacular. Their positive efforts don't go unnoticed though!

The way I see it, it's hard to "fit in" whenever you're so new because there aren't years and years of a sisterhood before you to understand what it's like to be in sorority "xyz". Yes, they're new and maybe they don't quite "get it" but they are trying really, really hard and you have to give them credit for that. Best of luck with recruitment! I'm sure you'll do great.

AGD has always kind of been a mystery. I know in the past people would call them "Alpha Grab-a-Donut" (which is obviously rude) and there is the "rich girl" stereotype that follows them. Rumors say that they drop girls who don't come from families of money because they don't want to put anyone in financially hard situations. Just like anyone, they can generally be a little stuck up and snobby but the few girls that I know in the most recent spring pledge class (SPC 2015) are very, very nice.
