why don't sororities mix more?

Why don't sororities mix with more fraternities? In other schools like Penn State fraternities and sororities from nearly every tier interact with each other. Yet sororities like ADPi/Zeta/DG will have only a few mixers a semester and refuse to mix with like SigChi. What's the point? Why not just have more social functions, who cares?

All 3 of those have at least 1, sometimes 2 mixers per week. Why mix with sigchi or bottom tier frats who come off as creepy when you can have mixers with normal frats and just do shoots/devines the other days?

How do you even know those bottom tier frats are 'creepy', have you ever even given them a chance? It's retarded, there are many many lonely girls who would be happy to date a SigChi if they were given a chance.

I've been to sigchi parties. They were weird and pretty empty. Not to say that all sigchis are weird, I've actually met a pretty cute one once, but even low-mid frats are just a lot better than bottom frats like sigchi and SAE. Plus, sororities tend not just to mix with frats, but also sports teams and clubs, plus we can always go to open parties, so it's not like we're hanging out with the exact same guys every weekend, although we do have our favorites.

ok adpi is bottom tier. zeta is maybe lower middle tier. I can't tell if this adpi trying to look cool or theta trying to seem like they're not on par with dg now. Or sig chi feeling sorry for themselves

I wouldn't go so far as to say that everyone mixes with everyone at other schools but upper and middle will mix, as well as middle and lower would mix. Duke just overdoes it's little elitist hierarchy game at people's expense of meeting new people instead of sticking to the same boring cree
