rush

at this point in the semester, if you are being invited to the parties of a top 4 fraternity do you have a pretty good chance of getting a bid or do they invite a lot more people than they are actually interested in? having a hard time understanding how much fall rush determines who gets bids next semester

So is it relatively possible to get a bid to a top 4 fraternity of you don't know many of the brothers and aren't being invited to their events before rush?

Do most kids going top 4 know where they are going by the time rush starts, or do most people go into rush not really sure and then it plays out over those two weeks? Not that being in the top 4 is everything, but obviously that those are the places most difficult to get a bid.
