Been seeing a lot of sigep/theta chi truth posts for frosh and figured this should also be shared.
I know there are a fair amount of frosh that fall for the “greek life is toxic, go wayne” skit these boys put on but do not fall for it.
Wayne sells itself as “a frat without the problematic past” but really what it is is an SLG with a few cool guys who do not interact.
No brotherhood, no national resources (scholarships, internship connex, etc), and very little to benefit the average frosh.
Every guy I know that went wayne still hangs with his same group of friends from freshman year (who may or may not be in wayne). The “brothers” don’t even know each other—its huge and very cliquey.
Worst of all wayne won’t exist in 6 months when Duke officially bans SLGs in favor of QuadEx. Joining wayne right now is possibly the stupidest thing a freshman could do. Duke greeklife is so tame and watered down, dont listen to the Mary Pat/waynebro BS. Rush and see for yourself. If you really hate greek life that much then be independent for a few weeks until you get FOMO and beg for a snap bid when u see all ur friends having fun.
Don’t waste your time joining wayne there is definitely a frat for you

Low key though IWed was a top tier party from a mid tier frat. You don't see that from ATO or PiKapp these days
