only thing of interest ab gphi collapse was that it made me realize: why is it called “A-fee”? (aphi)
“Pi-f-eye” “Add-f-eye” “G-f-eye” what?

Fee is the Classical Greek pronunciation of Phi, while Fi is the more Anglican pronunciation. Both are valid and it’s just preference. Aphi went with Fee because they thought it sounded more feminine.
