an independent discovers greek rank

an independent who discovered this forum today and is frustrated as hell. frustrated with the way groups are classified and bullied behind the veil of anonymity. frustrated that these are my peers. frustrated with the existence of this whole system.

with the fact that there is a ‘greek rank’ and that my peers are so shallow to rank their other peers solely on wealth and hotness.

with the fact that, reflecting on my own experience, where you stand in the system... actually matters. it can create the most amazing Duke experience for you, or it can destroy the same. Four years, a quarter million dollars, isolated because you’re not “key three” or because you don’t have the guise of rolling in cash. damn, what happened to duke being a welcoming community?

to those who claim to stand for equal opportunity, to stand against discrimination and unfair bias, your very participation in these forums and these groups is a stand against your own claims. damn. \n\n\n\n\n
