from what i've seen on instagram, i'm glad dsig is being slightly less strict about wristbands. lots of extremely lot athletics and independents aren't in sororities and it honestly just creates a better party environment knowing that you could bring your friends regardless of what sorority (or not) they're in.
I won't give dsig a full round of applause though because they are the ones who perpetrate white rich culture by only inviting the whitest and richest sororitys. Given that dsig has diversity itself (very few but some) maybe they can be the ones on campus to promote a more diverse racially and socieconomically environment.

Put this post in some context. Yeah, it’s great that dsig is letting in hot girls from outside of greek life. But the fact that you think this “promotes racial and socioeconomic diversity on campus” is truly sad. A few parties a year where a few more girls get in is ridiculously inconsequential. I encourage you to devote your diversity-promoting energies to something more meaningful.
PS, dsig doesn’t need your applause, that’s condescending af. They can invite whoever or exclude whoever they want.

Damn bump all of this and don’t let this post get pushed to the bottom by frats doing random polls and poems. Don’t like it when people use the n word? Congrats, your frat/sorority only accepts white people anyway so don’t act like you care about the black community or minorities in general at duke

They have a right to invite who they want. In fact they should be able to pick who they want from a sorority or independents etc .and invite individual members off a list not all "key 3"
