It’s hard and sometimes (a lot) you will feel left out and ditched by your old friends.

Being independent can be hard but also has its upside! If you rushed and pref'd a chapter give that bid day a chance but if in the end you still aren't happy being independent is totally awesome still (plus as a girl you can honestly still go out to wherever you like)
