guide for 2018 rush

Upon request, here's a breakdown of all relevant sororitys for you frosh about to go through rush:
TRIDELT: has been a "top tier" sorority for literally ever. Girls are either taken completely based on looks or completely based on money (but all are rich as hell) If you weren't dirty rushed, chances of a bid are very slim. Some are super fun, cool and nice. Others are catty, mean, and judgmental. Sisterhood appears to be pretty legit but also can be cliquey.
KAPPA: brand themselves as the "nice" girls, but are definitely the party girls. Their recent pledge class is a very diverse mix of girls in terms of personality but they all seem to get along great. Sisterhood is solid. Their dirty rushing & sisterhood can get annoying but bottom line they're still fun. They dirty rushed like crazy this year so if you weren't dirtied then chances are slim.

dirty rush isn't about creating a pledge class, it's about attempting to get to know girls before rush so that the process isn't quite as artificial. most sororities keep very open minds during rush and make an extra effort to get to know the girls that they don't already know from first semester. don't worry about it if you weren't dirty rushed. it really doesn't matter at all. nobody knows their pc yet

could you explain what you mean when you say kappa dirty rushed really hard? if I never actually went to a meal with a girl but I talked to some at parties or running into them, does that qualify as I'm probably part of the pc? is it only the girls they took to meals?

Relax, girls in other sororities are just trying to scare freshman or create a negative opinion by telling them that x sorority only dirty rushes. While first semester informal rush is pretty important for the higher tier sororities, they would still love to have cool, relaxed girls in their sorority even if they don't meet them first semester.
