For frats like pike/pikapp, is there even a point in rushing if I didn't meet anyone in the frat first semester?

soph here. Have friends in lots of frats who didnt know anyone and still got bids at all different levels of this system. Not knowing anyone will definitely make it harder to get noticed but its still totally possible to get a bid. Go to the open house, meet a bunch of guys and do the same second round.

Those are not exclusive at all. If you have any kind of semi-normal personality they'd die to have you regardless of whether you met any of them first semester or not.
