top tier frats trending down

Toga was lame and has been lame for the past two years.
Half of the girls invited went to KArnival.
Candyland was over hyped.
Dnarty Gras was a total failure.
As “top tier” frats become more strict about wristbands and invite lists, they’re parties become exponentially less fun. These frats would benefit from taking the stick they have shoved up their ass and viewing their events for what they are - just a party. Would you rather have 30 people show up from key three or an actual party amount show up from girls who want to have fun

yea dude umm candlyland killed the barn... and got shut down at 12 with inadequate bus space so not sure what party you went to

Coming from the perspective of a transfer student, it's clear this person has absolutely no idea how parties work. Letting in random kids to parties is a liability, especially Duke students from what I've seen. Most duke kids can't handle themselves and to let in droves of random kids would be an absolute mistake. The people then responsible for said kids and the circumstances that derive from it? The people who host the parties. Try going to USC or UMich for a party and come back when you're informed.

Wait, somebody who actually knows things is posting on this site? Unheard of. Posts like these make it pretty obvious how oblivious people on this site can be to how greek life actually works. It's annoying, but kind of entertaining in a "Awww, you don't know how stupid you sound" kind of way
