what is frat rush actually like?
by: freshmanI'm a freshman guy rushing next semester. I've seen a lot about frat rankings and descriptions, but I'm curious as to what the rush process is actually like. Will I have time to visit all the frats that I'm interested in, or should I narrow it down to a few? Also, what are the events like, and how will I be able to tell if I have a good chance with a frat? Any additional tips or comments are welcome.

Yea you'll definitely have time to see all of the frats you're interested in, don't worry about that too much. Obviously plan ahead and make sure you don't spend a ridiculous amount of time in one place. You'll be able to tell if you have a good chance if you get invited to do stuff on off nights (nights that there isn't an official event). The kids that frats really want will be getting dirty rushed

I mean it's incredibly easy to meet brothers during rush events, that's the whole point. You need to connect with guys, and have them like you so that they will vouch for you during cut meetings. That alone will get you pretty far. Also if we're being honest, being attractive and wealthy will help a lot but there's not much you can do there besides being in good shape
