the ka chasm
by: Key 4 sophomore
To whom it may concern,
Allow me to legitimize myself. I'm a sorority sophomore in one of the top four sororities on campus, and I have consistently slept inside KAs section (sometimes w/out them knowing) in order to find the REAL truth inside this once-prolific southern frat.
Let's get to the point. KA puts on this magnificent facade that it's an upbeat, socially accepting frat. They are. In fact, they're so upbeat and so socially accepting that kids like BS and WT made it in last year. But that doesn't hide or excuse the real truth that I witnessed when hiding in the fetal position under CB's bed one night. KA is split on the inside.
There's a real divide between the guys from the "S", and the guys from the "N". S Tide VS Vineyard Vines, sweat tea vs San pelleggrino, trucks VS luxury European sedans, Bernie VS Clinton, Suntrust 2X cash back rewards VS AMEX platinum, Bojangles vs Rudy Giuliani. It's all there.
I've heard all these arguments, whether under CBs bed or behind the shower curtain in JMs bathroom, I've heard it all. And frankly, it sounds like a fraternity coming off its hinges. Like SAE in the 80s, although their Trimble was much cooler.
It's something we must all carefully watch, for a large, ornate, roman structure that falls abruptly will undoubtedly shed its ruins over the foundations of much smaller buildings (like ATO or SNU). Anyway, you heard it here first, dArKness is upon us.

Yes yes yes! I have noticed this for 3 years now and finally someone said something about it! I'm sick and tired of these guys acting like they are some "sick southern frat". I mean come on. TB has a southern tide sticker on his hockey helmet and JR from NY drives a raptor. When I posed as a fake jimmy johns delivery driver I noticed that JB their president doesn't even dip long cut and listens to rap not country! This frat is NOT cool anymore and freshman should take notice
