by: meKA is weird. They can't have parties at their house. They're losing relevance, but they still have good mixers. Pike is way better when it comes to parties and darties, but KA has historically always been top tier. Their pledge class pretty much lost everyone they really wanted to SNu, but pulled a few cool kids and a lot of filler.

this is incredibly true.
KA is holding on to its old connections. they're desperately trying to only interact with the most 'relevant' girls to try to hold on to what 'coolness' they used to have.
they're a ton of try hards, and everyone sees it. it looks really bad when you make it visible that your aim in life is to be cool and relevant.
they used to be chill, go hard, were very 'southern chill' vibe non-social climby, just chill and fun boys. if they just tapped back into that vibe they would have their essence back and i would recognize the KA i saw two years ago (i'm a senior)
now they're just a pathetic group of try hards scrambling

Pike is overtaking KA. No I'm not in pike although I'm sure I'll get attacked/pegged as being someone in Pike. I'm a girl in a relevant sorority and to me pike mixers are more fun than KA mixers. Pike isn't as social climby, they've even mixed with theta, and as a result they know twice the girls and have a much more active social calendar. They're not particularly attractive but they're definitely on the same level as KA, and they're just laid back guys who go super hard, don't give a f about social standing, and have a really good time.
If you're choosing between KA and Pike during rush, I would highly recommend going Pike.
