preppy sorority?
by: pfroshIs there a sorority that has a lot of Southern, preppy, state-school sorority-ish girls? (Like a female KA?) Seems like all of the relevant sororitys say NYC or international.

No, if you're looking for the state school or southern college feel, there's not really one. The top three sororities are mainly comprised of NYC, Long Island, and international sororities while alpha phi and theta are more of a mix. The rest of the sororities are a mix as well. The closest you'll get to the "southern-college" feel is at Carolina Cup which most frats and sororities go to. The Greek scene here isn't really as "southern" as you'd imagine, mainly because most of this school seems to be from NE

Tri Delt and Pi Phi are city girls, international, NYC/Connecticut types for the most part, some preppies in TriDelt, but not their main vibe.
Kappa and Theta have some Southern girls that are probably closest to what you are talking about - with Kappa ones having more partying and some Theta ones with boyfriends or conservative/less partiers. AdPhi may have some of these too, I don't know much about them.
Aphi and DG - have more of the NYC/International, big city types who were rejected from TriDelt and Pi Phi; they have less of a preppy vibe, but there are all kinds of girls in these sororitys so there are probably some prepsters too.

DG please stop comparing yourself to APhi. One good rush doesn't put you in that tier. You have moderately attractive girls from the suburbs, not much in the way of city girls or internationals.

Kappa, tridelt, and alpha phi have a couple girls from North Carolina for sure. Pi phi is strictly international/city. Theta has he most southern girls but they're much more conservative (whereas KA is southern preppy / party hard, theta is southern conservative aka don't party from what I've heard). Kappa and pi phi have the most Long Island, pi phi/tridelt/alpha phi have the most city girls. Theta has a few though
