by: questionhow did freshmen get wristbands to all those exclusive wristband parties first semester last year? was it through connections, or would certain connected people get multiple that they would then hand out to their friends? because those parties started as early as early october...

A variety of ways. Some of it is just showing up to open stuff and talking to brothers, some of it is prior connections, some of it is meeting brothers through clubs, organizations, and classes on campus. The best advice to just be nice to everyone you meet and network well
