what went wrong?

the honest answer is there is absolutely nothing wrong with you. sometimes, girls just get unlucky and slip through the cracks. and with the snow day this year, the lists got really messed up and it was not fair for so many girls. the girls in sororities are tired and just want to leave, so they don't consider some girls as carefully as others when voting. or maybe the girls you talked to during rounds didn't have much power and couldn't get you through to the next one. kinda sucks that there aren't many options for girls who didn't have a good rush experience, especially for those who got a bid to a chapter they don't really fit in with yet still want the social and fun aspects of greek life. receiving a bid makes you ineligible to join a different chapter for an entire year, and rushing as a sophomore doesn't usually work out unless you're best best best friends with everyone in a particular sophomore pledge class. OP, i'm really sorry things didn't work out for you. i promise this doesn't mean you're not fun, social, or pretty. i wish there were more options for girls who had a bad rush experience but still want to belong somewhere, go to parties and mixers, etc.

Sorry it didn't work out. First post nailed it. It's too bad sophomores don't get more of a chance at this school. I think that would take some of the pressure off rush freshman year.
