There was a good post on this a while back, I think the biggest reason why people always put these guys in a head to head is because the names are similar.

Pikapp is hotter (attractive face, muscular), yet more boring and nerdy.
Pike is less attractive (stoners, diversity), but are more social relatively.

Pikapp has boyfriend material guys (very hot yet not as socially active)
Pike has a ton of diversity, so mostly interesting hookups at parties/stoners

Obviously not every guy fits these categories but in general that is the main difference

I don't see how Pike is more diverse than Pikapp. There are a lot tof minorities in Pikapp
