I don't have the inside knowledge you have but I just don't believe it. Who wants to be a 100 man fraternity at FSU? Look at the fall 2015 IFC grade reports. The 100 man chapters are Beta, AEPi, SAE and Kappa Sig. There's nothing wrong with them but they're not competitive. There are a dozen fraternities a lot bigger and more influential than any of those.
LXA was a great fraternity, as good as anyone back in the day with great alumni and a string of championships. I would have been a LXA but they were gone when I got here. I can't believe the're willing to piss that tradition away. If you've ever been great why would you want to be mediocre? No offense to anyone previously mentioned.

Yeah I feel you there, but they might not even be able to come back in the first place. They violated every order LXA nationals gave them after their departure (underground rushing, holding LXA official LXA events and parties) on top of a ban from both FSU IFC and LXA nationals which extended the later. On top of that their are the remaining possibility of civil suits if IFC and their nationals lifts their ban. With our current violations and news coverage at a school I doubt they would lift their ban in the first place. The alumni that owns the house, and the alumni that are attempting to get the bans lifted and LXA back both think the downfall of LXA was a loose brotherhood in such a large house. So only time will tell, but in the mean time ZBT has the first option to buy the house at market value when their lease ends and I doubt them or their nationals will pass that up.

I know for a fact that a group of IFC alumni all fraternities are working to get LXA back. Everybody has come back - Pike, Phi Delt, ATO, SPE. SX and LXA will be back too. It would hurt the Pikes and Phi Delts if ZBT stays in the house permanently. It's a great house and ZBT is not a great chapter.
