recs

hey girlie! If you can get them they would be beneficial but I don't think they're a deciding factor. Some say they give you a second chance at a house...but I had multiple recs for one house and I didn't get called back so it's never a guarantee but it doesn't hurt!

It helps for sure, but if a house likes you enough they'll invite you back even if you don't have a rec. Some are required to have a rec for a girl to offer her a bid, but they can always find someone to write one for you if they like you. Do try to get as many as you can though because it can't hurt. Also, you never need more than 2-3 for one house. More than that comes across as desperate unless they're all from family members and you're whole family has been in one sorority lol.
