spring rush 2016 tiers w/ explanation

I know this post will cause much debate but after looking at some of the pledge classes this past semester I think some fraternities have definitely risen and some have fallen.
Fraternities:
Pike>Delt/Phi Sig
Phi Tau/ATO> Phi Delt/Theta Chi/KA
PiKapp>Chi Phi/ZBT/Kappa Sig
AEPi/SAE
Beta/FIJI/Phi Psi/Delta Chi/AEPhi/TKE/Sigma Pi
Sororities:
KD> ZTA/DG
Tri Delt>AXO/Theta
ADPi>PiPhi/Chi O
Alpha Phi/Phi Mu>DZ
Kappa/Gamma Phi> Sig Delt
AOPi/AGD
Let's address everything before you comment.
Calm down before you flip out. I think the fraternities are pretty spot on. People will say ATO isn't that good but there's always haters on them. The rest is pretty accurate I think for the fraternities.
The sororities will cause the most debate. No this isn't a KD, self promo I'm not in KD. I think they just consistently pull top classes and never have an "off semester." DG you're still good stop freaking out because you're a spot behind KD you're still top. Tri Delt is the next best. Theta and AXO are pretty equal however it's my opinion that Theta has been more established in their spot when compared to AXO. ADPi fell a little bit last year but had a strong rush. Pi Phi really doesn't contribute much to the Greek community and do their own thing. They're still good but ADPi beats them based on effort. Chi O and Pi Phi are pretty interchangeable however Chi O having the highest GPA is impressive. Alpha Phi and Phi Mu have both made great strides.

Yes DZ you won sorority of the year you're a great sorority but Alpha Phi and Phi Mu pull great classes that are a little bit better in my opinion. Kappa and Gamma Phi are pretty interchangeable. People say Gamma Phi has kind of fell off and I agree to an extent. Kappa has made major strides and has been featured a lot with great PR and campus involvement so they're moving their way up. Sig Delt needs a major event or more to push them up too but they're established. AGD congratulations you guys pulled a great class this fall! You're actually coming up which is really surprising. AOPi congrats on the new house but just know that your one semester with an "alright" rush will not push you above AGD, Sig Delt, or Gamma Phi. Those sororities have been at FSU for countless years with hard work. Your half of a year in a house does not push them out. Keep working on it and maybe you'll be there in a year or two.

Just because you make a statement doesnt make it factual. In particular about KD. They have in fact had many semesters where they have taken less than stellar pledge classes so deciding to award them a top spot seems unreasonable. There are several top houses not just one. You can look at DG who also has had very good pc's and won multiple competitions, ZTA who has the most outstanding philanthropy on campus and consistent top pc's as well.
Face it, tiers are really personal preference since none are based on consistent metrics to evaluate. In other words you full of crap.

At best, KD is on the same level as ZTA and DG, but that will only continue if they get another fantastic pc. They might be climbing, but they still have to prove that they deserve that top spot. PNMs who are coming in with a lot of knowledge about greek life here will still opt for ZTA and DG first.
