during rush, is it good or bad to......

Show that you've done research about a sorority and know a lot about them and their philanthropy and stuff they do, etc? Or does that come off as weird and stalkerish?

That approach seems to be important among the historically Black fraternities and sororities. It doesn't seem to carry much weight among the IFC and PanHellenic chapters.

Probably only do this if you have a friend in the sorority and can say if asked, "Oh Sarah talks all about you guys!"
