how do recs work
by: HelpDoes a letter of recommendation only benefit the sorority and school of which the alumni is from? Or it's good for all? For example if I got a letter of rec from a DG fsu alumni would it only further me into getting into DG at fsu? Or would it also help me getting into other sororities at fsu. OR would it help me get into, let's say, DG at UF?

It does not matter where the alumna is from. A DG alumna from Ole Miss can write you a rec for the DG house at FSU, or DG at UF, etc. The DG rec is only good for DG chapters. Sometimes a rec from an alumna at the actual chapter can "carry more weight" it just depends on the chapter.
