Somewhat. Obviously that sorority will cut you right away, but you could be viewed as a risk in some houses. Sororities really don't want to bid girls they think will be unhappy and drop. That's why they drop girls they don't think will fit in even if the girls rushing them liked the girl, they are a direct legacy to another house, you've given off the vibe you won't be able to pay for it even with payment plans and things, etc.

But it's not a determining thing, just a factor. If you are unhappy, drop before initiation. Rush again, you may be as competitive but you'll still end up somewhere else and have a better chance of being happy.
