club sports and pledging?

I am freshman and play on a very competitive club sports team here, In the spring it will be 5, sometime 6 days a week. I didn't join a fraternity during fall and was planning on rushing during spring. Would fraternities be okay with me missing so much? A lot of the guys on the team are in fraternities (many in the one i want to join) if i am up front about my commitments would they be okay with this?

Most sports are seasonal. For instance, lacrosse season is in the spring. Pledge during the 'off' season.

Fall '16 is better for you if your season is Spring '15, but you should ask dudes on your team who are in houses if they pledged during season and what it was like.
