sophomore fraternity rush?

I didn't rush as a freshman (this semester) and I somewhat regret it. I was planning on it, but when rush week came, I was sick, only went to one house, got dropped, got annoyed, and decided not to rush. Now I feel like im missing out on meeting new friends, going out, getting girls etc. I was pretty sure that I was going to be in a fraternity, so I didn't really look for anything else to take up my time during the first month, and as a result im bored out of my mind now. Will I be seen as a weirdo for rushing as a sophomore next fall? I'm kinda worried that my only friends will be freshman, rather than other guys my age.

Come out and rush in the spring. Even if you don't pledge you will have enjoyed the experience of going around.
