winterfest or fall rush?

I really messed up by not rushing in the beginning of my freshman year, should I rush during winter fest or just wait it out until fall '16? I BADLY want to be in a sorority because the sisterhood and socials and philanthropy events are all things I want to do :( I don't care too much about teirs, but I've been told I have a pretty face and I know my body is just ok. If I rush during spring is there even a chance I'd get a bid?

Not a lot of people get spring bids. It doesn't hurt at all to do spring rush and then fall rush, just don't put all your hopes on spring. Fall is a better time to join anyways imo.

If you join in spring do you still receive a big and get all the perks of joining in the fall or no?

Yes! You still get a big and a family and everything. But its with such a smaller class, like sometimes just one other girl so in that aspect you miss out. A lot of times spring girls can feel left out.

Go for spring rush first. If being Greek is that important to you then you should take every opportunity to try to get a bid. Good luck!
