I keep hearing about a computer mess up round two - cutting girls with mutual selection, any truth to that?!

There's no such thing as computer glitch. If it was the computer problem then they should do the old fashion bidding process. They just blame it on computer to avoid unnecessary drama. Too bad when you join sorority you already signed up for all the drama.

If there had been a huge glitch, something would have been done to remedy the situation. This rumor shows up at some school every year. It just is not true.

yeah, this. the same software has been used at schools all over the country for years.there is no glitch.it's a proven product. people try float this glitch rumor every year to make pnm's feel better and it's simply not true.

The mistake or glitch is almost always on Panhellenic's part. They just don't own up to it/blame it on the computers or make it seem like its the sororities fault. We had to cut girls we wanted because a mistake that was not made by us.

Complete BS. Every sorority gets a number they're allowed back that's based on historic return rates. You get to invite that number at the maximum. The stronger your house, the fewer PNMs you get to invite back. There's no glitch. That's just how the system works to assure equity in the distribution of bids.

If there was no glitch then how were 2 girls that are maternal legacies with current siblings also in the same house not even get the automatic invite back for day two?

The chapters messed up and did not invite her back. That is a chapter problem not a computer problem.
