Spring rush isn't really a thing at FSU. All the frats do it but only 2-3 sororities participate, and that's only if they didn't make their quota for the fall class. So since there's only going to be a few doing spring rush, it's much better to wait for the fall so you get the true recruitment process and get a look at every single sorority and not just a few. The only ones that usually do spring rush are girls that already have strong connections with a sorority through friends and they know them well enough to be comfortable to accept a bid

Not true. They aim to get freshmen so they could spend a full 4 years there, but as long as they like you they won't say "oh she's nice but she's a sophomore so we can't have her" I know 5 or 6 girls that rushed as juniors last year and had no issues

Are you sure? The website says August 10th and states in all caps that no late applications will be accommodated...
