serious question about transfers
by: TransferI'm not going to FSU this year, I'm starting my freshman year at a smaller school. I'm registered for sorority rush at this smaller school, but I'm thinking about transferring to FSU as a sophomore. Anyone know how the rush process works if I'm a transfer who was already in a sorority? I know it's confusing. Thank you to anyone who replies.

once you get initiated to a sorority you're a sister for life. If you change schools you wouldn't have to rush again, you just reaffiliate. However you're not automatically in. They still decide if they want you to be an active member of their chapter, they most likely will accept you though.

If you're transferring for sophomore year, you should just wait to rush here. What is the point of rushing there and then leaving? You won't have your big with you, or any of the friends you made through it.
If you decide to rush there just make sure they also have a chapter here. Not all sororities accept all transfers, but they try to.
