Thank you, my best friend went to UOA and it was a HUGE thing there, parents everywhere with gifts/sorority baskets. Although I realize FSU is much different from UOA, I just wondered if they did something similar as I'm sure my mother would like to be there if so, if not... no big deal. Thanks again for your response.

It's more of an SEC school thing for parents to be there. I know that some people like that idea but bid day is more of a time for you to dive in and meet all your sisters that you will be family with for the years to come

An SEC thing, it's a Bama thing, but it is a big deal there. All the chapters serve lunch for the members and the new girls parents.
