black and white

my dress for pref night is black and white, I was told by someone that might be a bad idea because a lot of the chapters wear either black or white. will this hurt my chances of getting a bid and is it frowned upon? please be honest

No it won't hurt your chances. Last year I wore the exact same dress as the girl that was rushing me and it was something to laugh about- I ended up in that house!

Last year I was at a house that was wearing all different blues one round and I was wearing a blue dress and one of the sisters turned toward me and asked me a recruitment-related question before she realized i was not one of her sisters haha. We laughed about it and I ended up preffing there. Don't stress over stuff like that! As long as your clothes are appropriate, they aren't really going to affect your bids
