regret

Does anyone else regret the frat or sorority they joined? Thought I picked the right choice but it turned out I'm just not like my brothers and just don't fit in

Yes I joined the wrong fraternity and it's very sad. I definitely thought I fit in during house preview and rush but after getting to know the older brothers during pledging I realized I'm nothing like them. I have 3 or 4 guys I'm really close with but other than that I don't really talk to rest. I tried last semester but I don't really like most of them and have absolutely nothing in common. But I'm trying to make the best out of it

I love my sorority but my best friend from high school totally regrets her decision. She felt like they put on an act at rush to attract PNMs and after that they were totally different. She's dropping in the fall :(

As far as sororities go, Ive noticed that most girls regret their decision because they cared about tiers too much and picked the wrong one.

I hear stories about girls regretting their decisions all the time for reasons the people said above like them putting on an act and also the tiers

I would like to hear more from people who regret the sorority or fraternity they joined. The people who say they felt the sororities were putting on an act...so you feel they were fake and not a good representation of what you actually got yourself in to? I am wondering if some people joined one because it was 'top tier' and they wanted the status, instead of going where they felt most comfortable regardless of what other people would say if they did, even if it meant going down a tier.
