old freshie

by: Possiblepnm

Ok so after I graduated high school I took a couple years off to really figure out what I want.. So now I'm going to fsu in the fall as a freshman but I'm 20 years old. How does that affect me in the rush process bcc I hear all the time that sororities prefer freshmen but I never hear about age and how much it can affect a person getting a bid.

Freshmen are preferred because they have more years to spend with the sisters. As far as age I don't think that matters really, as long as someone is old enough to be considered an active and not an alumna ( I.e 27- would be alumna age usually

You're fine cause you're still considered a freshman their not really gonna ask how old you are it's always "what year are you?"
