When Lambda Chi and Sigma Chi were on campus, what was their standing in the tier system? I heard lambda chi was better than Pike, but would need people to confirm it

Here's the truth. Fraternities rise and fall. Five years ago (2010) the top fraternities were in no order Pike, LXA, Delt, Sigma Chi, Phi Sig. ATO was either still gone or just returned. Phi Delt was improving. Theta Chi and Phi Tau were strong, like today. Sig Ep was still gone or just back. KA was KA.
LXA and Sigma Chi were the party animals - good times and not a lot else. Pike and Delt were the jocks. Phi Sig was crazy but good.
Back in 2000 the big dogs were SAE, ATO, Sig Ep, and LXA. Pike was just back. SX was good but not dominating.
Lesson: don't choose your fraternity based on history. It changes.

Lambda chi and pike had a rivalry because they were right next to each other and they were the two best. Neither was better than the other they were both at the top
