How important exactly are letters of reccomendation for a sophomore transfer?

GPA and no rec. are the easiest ways to cut first round. Add to that that you are a sophomore and you best make sure that you have a least one rec. per house.

I don't think Recs or being a sophomore matters at all... A letter of rec will not make or break a girl??
