to pnms
by: Go nolesI just want to say that I'm so glad when I was a PNM I decided to go into rush not knowing "rank" and stayed off of sites like these. When going through rush I ended up with a pref of a "top tier", an "upper middle" and a "middle" house. I ended up choosing the so called "middle" house as my top pick because I could feel how genuine the girls were and realized that's where I felt like I could fit in and where I already had a connection. All of the houses I preffed I loved, but I followed my gut instinct. I'm happy where I am but I'm sad to say that if I knew the rankings I might have chosen my "top tier" for all the wrong reasons. Don't get me wrong, every house at FSU whether it's top, middle or bottom can appeal to anyone going through rush. They're all filled with amazing women with amazing qualities, sisterhood, philanthropies and etc. but I really do hope PNMs don't go into rush altering themselves to "fit" into a certain house. Rush is about finding a group of women you relate to and can see yourself still sharing the same values with for not only 4 years but for the rest of your life. Sorry that this went on a little too long, but I just hope PNMs that are reading this go into rush with the right attitude and the right reasons.

SERIOUSLY. All you PNMs reading this, STOP STRESSING OVER TIERS AND WHICH HOUSE YOU WANT TO BE IN. It's unfair to yourself to make any decisions about any sororities without even going into them yet. Do yourself a favor and stop caring about what other people will say and just go with the house that feels right to you.
