I have nothing against them but since when did axo supposedly so much better ? I've always seen them as middle tier, why has everyone been ranking them so highly ?

Probably because it seems they got a really good pledge class. The rankings change a little from year to year due to pc's. AXO has their fair share of pretty girls and they seem to like each other too. I think everyone would agree they are top middle tier.
