sorority comments

there are gorgeous girls and not so pretty girls in every single sorority! why does no one understand that? everyone has an equal chance at every sorority. you simply have to go through rush and youll end up where you're meant to be. trust me.

It's NOT the end of the world if DDD, KD, DG, and ZTA drop you, seriously! If they drop you, there is a great chance that you would have not fit in anyways! Believe me, I know how it feels. After ice-waters, I was dropped from DG and KD, two sororities I had good friends in and had my heart set on. I went on with rush and now I realize that where I am is where I belong and I could not be happier!

There are 15 amazing sororities on this campus. Every single one is great. Stop with the tiers!!! I think every one would agree with me that there is no "number 1" sorority. Everyone has their favorites, FIND YOURS during recruitment!!! You will thank yourself later if you go in with an OPEN MIND, and don't get discouraged if a house drops you!

ladies, everything said below is exactly correct! I really hope that PNMs take these things to heart, it sounds cheesy but it is so true, you end up where you are for a reason!

I would also like to address all these rumors and accusations of "dirty rushing" that are circulating about zta, kd, dg, etc. PNMs, just because girls in houses are trying to get to know you, be nice to you and introduce you to FSU's campus, DOES NOT mean that they are dirty rushing you, I see this term being used way too loosely.

please know that it is only what you make of it. the majority of the time the girls are just trying to be nice and represent Panhellenic well. please do not overthink this, take it for what it is! Don't assume that you are being "dirty rushed" unless a girl is cornering you at a bar demanding that you join her house! I am saying this in hopes of defending my house and alot of my friends in other houses as well, because alot of these accusations are unfair.

FSU has a lot of classy ladies. I am from another college up north. At our college we live by Different Letters but all greek together.... We tell our pnm's the same thing. All the sororites are amazing. Good luck with RUSH!!!

So?? I've been rear-ended by a KD and almost rear-ended by a Sig Delt. This is a college town, people suck at driving.

how are sororities and pnm matched up after preference? what kind of matching system is it? how many girls get their second or third choice or no bid at all?

Sororities exist because fraternities needed someone to bang on the regular.
