sorority comments

What's going on with the houses? I heard XO's house looks completely different on the outside, SigDelt's letters got taken off, and Kappa is getting remodeled on the inside? Anyone want to enlighten me?

Top: DDD, KD, DG

Middle: ZTA, ADPi, PiPhi

Bottom: Who cares.

All of the sororities are great here at FSU. I advise everyone to go in with an open mind :) You really will end up where you belong!

All girls will fit into different sororities.

If you're going through rush, I would take this into consideration:

There is really no "Best sorority on campus," #1 etc, if you ask most people. They all are great in certain areas, and they all are flawed in certain areas. Its really where you best fit in and where you are most comfortable.

I dont think anyone would argue with this..

Top Tier Sororities (in no order): DG, KD, ZTA, DDD

Middle Tier Sororities (in no order): ADPi, PiPhi, Theta, XO, DZ, AXO

Bottom: ADG, GPhiB, PhiMu,SDT

How would you feel if you were in a sorority that people were writing is a "bottom tier" sorority. Its not fair to give PNM's a preconceived image of any sorority before recruitment. Let them figure it out for themselves!

If you take anything seriously on this website, you are not mature enough to join a sorority! Learning to make your own decisions without the influence of others is what sets you apart from the high school life. Grow up and act like adults.

I'm so excited for rush :) I want to join KD, PiPhi, ADPi, DG or Phi Mu based off of Summerfest... but I'm open to any house! Does anyone have some serious rush tips?

Chi O repainted their house. Kappa changed this around on the inside of their house. And Sig Delt completely re-landscaped their yard, repainted their house and got new furniture, and remodeled the inside. About the letters, they only took them down for a day, new letters are up spelling out "Sigma Delta Tau". All the houses look really really great.

do not listen to this site! the "top tier"s are not the top tiers, and the "bottom tiers" are not the bottom tiers. it's a bunch of B.S. ALL of the houses are great. nobody cares about what sorority you're in, i have good friends in EVERY SINGLE HOUSE and i love them just as much as i love my sisters! it's all about where you fit in. the "tiers" posted on these sites are the same girls in the same sororities trying to boost their sorority and put down others.

i completely agree with you 100%! when i went through rush, i went through as a sophomore and didn't get any of my top choices. i was devastated but i decided to stick it out, and i am SO happy with where i am. there are so many different girls in every single house, there are every type of girls in every single house. i'm in what is considered a "lower tier" sorority, but i could care less! this "rankings" are stupid, and made by girls who are in the same sorority trying to boost themselves. i have some of the most gorgeous, nicest, caring girls i have ever met in my sorority. don't listen to "reputations" stick it out, you'll fit in wherever you end up :) just keep an open mind!
