sorority comments

I actually think it's good that PNMs have an idea of who they're interested in. It just shows that certain sororities are projecting positive images that make girls want to be a part of their sisterhood. And I see absolutely nothing wrong with them having something in mind and then testing it out.

I have no clue about rush. I don't even know what to expect. I will rush and at that time learn and understand what house is interesting to me. I can only hope I get the bid on my favorite. Looking foward to Rush,2009.

I'm a legacy to two different sororities, but I'm also keeping an open mind. Yes, I think it would be awesome to be in one of those so I could share that with my mom or grandma, but why should I limit myself?! I may fit in great with them, or I could hate them. I can't wait for rush.

Don't let any sorority but the one you are a legacy to know about your legacy status or they might release you thinking you will go to your legacy house. Also tif you're a legacy to a top house they may release you midweek to later in the week because if you are invited to preference they have to take you

hi! i'm very interested in rushing but i am not a big partier. i don't mind drinking, but i hate going out to clubs. are there any sororities that aren't HUGE partiers- i know everyone parties to some degree, though.

In every sorority you will find friends that have the same interests. Do you think that all the girls go out and party all the time. Be realistic. You will find the right match once you rush. CHILL!

Who were your favs?

My absolute favorite was Pi Beta Phi. The two girls were SO sweet and I held a great conversation with them. Kappa Delta was also very nice and the girls were very friendly. Other nice, outgoing ones were Alpha Delta Pi, Phi Mu, Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Tri Delta, and Zeta Tau Alpha. Everyone else was nice, the only ones that weren't nice to me were Delta Zeta and Kappa Alpha Theta, they gave me my stamp and then ignored me. and I'm a legacy to one of them.

Based on today, I am interested in joining Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Delta, Delta Gamma, Phi Mu or Alpha Delta Pi... but I'm still keeping an open mind!
