I am considering rushing this fall, but i will be a sophmore. Will it be harder for me to get into a top sorority because I'm not a freshman?

I also rushed as a sophomore. It depends what your idea of a "top sorority" is. do you want one where you actually fit in, or one that just makes you look good? sometimes you do get fewer houses then freshmen do as the rounds go on, but it isn't anything personal. many sororities just want you to be there for 4 years. i had three amazing sisterhoods on pref day, and would have been happy to join any of those houses. i really feel that, even if you're rushing as a sophomore, you'll end up in the house you belong in. if girls really feel a connection with you, they'll keep you around. Regardless of what year you're in. Good luck, and hope you decide to rush!

If you're really attractive you'll get whatever house you want, regardless of the year you're rushing. But you should really go in with an open mind, forget reputations and "top sororities," it's all about where YOU fit. These are the girls your going to spend a lot of your time with, so good conversations with the sister should be your deciding factor. All the houses are pretty great so you really have nothing to worry about. Best of luck!
