This totally reflects greeklife at fsu. Stop kidding yourself by telling people it is not.

houses move up and down. Most may rate themselves and some rate others low. One house in particular has the rep of constantly moving up and down and they have a lot of posts and they are currently last....so what, they will move up too. Others like Chi o, A Chi O, Sdt have only 400 posts and thats mid to low, so what does that prove, other than they don't self rate and probably don't rate others negatively either. This site is taken waaaay too seriously if this is the way you validate yourself or your house.

I am proud to say I know at least one lady in every sorority and each of them takes pride not only in being a member of their sorority, but to being a sorority woman in general. They may have not so nice feelings about individual girls, but never about a sorority. As one of them told me, if one sorority has a bad rep, then it messes it up for all Panhellenic.

Take pride that your rankings seem mostly fair and opinions honest. Over on the fraternity page, everyone is at everyone else's throats ranking them all 1s stating false rumors no one has ever heard as their reasoning (read PKT's posts, I think they have the most 1 ratings and are at the bottom of the page). Not to mention TEP/Tau Ep ruining the whole purpose of the site (just read the posts on their page and the general wall). I'd ask you all to say something, but too many guys have posed as girls and to be honest, I don't think they'd care.

To the guy below me. Get off the computer next semester and GO OUT. Your "analysis" is based off old rumors that you'd know weren't true if you spent more time socializing with sororities rather than bashing everyone behind the safety of your computer screen.

And to the Phi Tau two below, stop whining to the girls. The only people who use this site regularly and care about the rankings, at least for the guys, are TEP, KSig, and LXA. Don't stoop to their level or you will deserve the bottom ranking.

I'm over this and I'm over being in a sorority. As bad as the economy is right now, I wouldn't feel right about flaunting my letters around in front of others who are worried about how they are going to pay for tuition and living expenses. This isn't a good time to be a elitist.

a lot of us pay our dues with financial aid. believe me, not every sorority girl has money.

and due to financial issues the greek system will also suffer. I guess the strength of the greek system largely is dependent on the economy which now sucks. I no longer care about which tier i'm in....I can't pay for it anyway. I have to worry about tuition and housing. It was fun while it lasted though.

Back home. Folks are selling the house...Lots of investments, but cash strapped. I told my mother I was dropping. I thought she would beg me not to, but she didn't. I love my big, I wonder how my sisters will react after I drop.If they won't be friends with me after I drop, then this whole system is pathetic and false. Side note ..I also hang with girls in other sororities which are bashed on this board as often as mine.
