I have seen other houses cute bags though! A lot of other schools don't give bags at all, so I think it is a cute idea :)

Vera Bradley is awful. Why do girls wear it?

Well, as a new member of greek life and not knowing what has gone on in the past, i am extremely jealous of their bags. ours are okay, but vera is amazing!

I thought all the bags were so cute! Some houses like KD and ADPI had bags that look a lot alike but they are both really cute!

Thanks to this website I had a complicated dream about these bags which involved me trying to get one.

My daughter was going thru this past rush and was enjoying all the houses, especially DG, Tri Delt, Chi O and Theta. She said all the girls in these houses were very nice to her. I was a DG, her sister was a ADPi and her grandmother was Chi O at other colleges. Everything was going great until Friday morning, she only got two bids and they were not from any of the houses she liked. She was so upset she dropped out. I've since heard that several in her group dropped out also. My daughter is smart and pretty, I don't understand how she didn't get a bid back to my sorority at the very least. When I was doing rush all those years ago, we basically "had" to take legacies, even if they were not quite what we wanted. I also heard that one girl going thru this rush was a triple Tri Delt legacy, great grandmother, grandmother, and mother, and she didn't get invited back to Tri Delt on Friday. I was just wondering, do legacies not mean anything anymore??

I helped during rush and will tell you that it is sometimes harder for a leg to get invited back since the sorority has to put them on the first bid list above other girls they want. Legacies must be dripped before pref or you must take them. Other houses drop them thinking they will go with their legacy house. It sucks to be a legacy at a top house. BTW my daughter was cut from my house.

Plus, can't you tell from reading posts on this website that with DG as well as Tri Delt, it is all about looks and what the fraternities think of you. I wouldn't worry about those two. My daughter was a DG legacy as well.

Your daughter was probably snotty and rude to the girls from the other houses , where she wasn't a legacy, thinking she was a shoe-in for Tri Delta. Then the other house saw her true colors and dropped her. Too funny.
